Vue TV128+ Boosts Thermal Sensitivity for Inspections and Safety
Teledyne FLIR has launched the Vue TV128+, a new camera module for the SIRAS drone.
Advanced Imaging for Industry and Safety
This new gadget comes with two powerful sensors. It mixes a 128x zoom, 16MP camera with the FLIR Boson®+ thermal camera, which boasts 640×512 pixels. The Boson+ is a special thermal camera that doesn’t need cooling. It can spot temperature differences as tiny as 20 millikelvin (mK), making images clearer and sharper, whether it’s day or night.
Also, there’s the MSX® Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging software from Teledyne FLIR. This tech improves thermal pictures by adding details from regular light, helping users see better what’s going on. MSX smartly adds outlines without messing up the thermal data, unlike other methods that blend images together.
“With the introduction of the Vue TV128+ for the SIRAS drone, we are excited to offer an even more advanced dual visible and thermal camera solution for professional UAV pilots,” said Mike Walters, Vice President, Teledyne FLIR. “Enhanced thermal visibility, especially in low-contrast environments, is a must-have tool for inspectors and public safety professionals.”
People often marvel at how technology like this makes hard tasks easier.
Built for Tough Jobs
The Vue TV128+ is tough, built to resist dust and water, carrying an IP54 rating. It’s perfect for difficult jobs like industrial checks, firefighting, police work, and rescue missions. With its mix of thermal and normal imaging, users can quickly decide what to do and look at data after flying if needed.
This new tool is flexible for drone users. It comes with the SIRAS drone bundle or can be bought alone to upgrade old systems. This flexibility makes it a great asset for industries needing fast and reliable aerial information.
