Gremsy and HHLA Sky Collaboration

Exciting New Partnership for Better Drone Inspections

Gremsy and HHLA Sky are teaming up to make drone inspections more efficient and precise by using advanced gimbals, AI solutions, and Sony imaging technology.

HHLA Sky, part of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG, is known for automating drone inspections. They use Gremsy’s Pixy LR S-Port gimbals with Sony’s cameras to inspect big structures from far away. This method has already been successful at the Port of Hamburg, where they checked container cranes without needing close-up flights.

How Technology Helps Inspections

– Gremsy’s gimbals connect with HHLA Sky’s Integrated Control Center (ICC).
– ICC manages over 100 drones at once from one place.
– It allows remote control beyond what the eye can see.
– Certified to IEC 62443 standards for cybersecurity.
– Automates inspections, reducing manual delays.
– Has an AI-based data pre-processing unit for faster data transfer.

Sony’s Role in Precision

Sony adds their digital imaging know-how to the mix. Their ILX-LR1 camera, with a super-clear 61 MP sensor, takes sharp images quickly. These cameras fit into Gremsy’s gimbals, letting operators use Sony’s remote software to control everything through HHLA Sky’s system.

“We are excited to drive innovation in industrial inspections with HHLA Sky and Sony,” said Vinh Tran, CEO at Gremsy. “By integrating our Pixy LR-Sport gimbals with Sony’s exceptional imaging capabilities and HHLA Sky’s advanced Mobile Robot Management solution, we are enabling a new era of efficiency and accuracy in the inspection industry.”

Matthias Gronstedt, CEO at HHLA Sky, added, “We are proud to partner with Gremsy and Sony to deliver cutting-edge solutions for industrial inspections with drones. Our integrated approach, incorporating Gremsy’s gimbals and Sony’s ILX-LR1 cameras, combined with our ICC, empowers organizations to optimize their inspection processes and achieve exceptional results.”

Remote and Automated Control

The system lets users control cameras and gimbals remotely. It records automatically and repeats missions accurately for consistent inspections. Organizations looking to improve inspections with smart tech will find this partnership valuable
