Spectrum Warrior: A New Age in Drone Defense
Drones are getting smarter, and with that, the danger they pose to military areas and important places is growing.
New Solutions for New Problems
Old ways of spotting drones just aren’t cutting it anymore. Spectrum Warrior, created by MyDefence, steps up as the new hero. It takes what they learned from their earlier “Wingman” tech, which is already used in places like Ukraine, and makes it even better. The company has learned a lot from these experiences, helping them build something truly special. Dan Hermansen, the CEO, says, “Our mission is to protect lives and critical infrastructure.” He believes working with soldiers has made their tech even better.
Sometimes, people just want to feel safe and secure.
Built for Today’s Battles
With AI-driven frequency monitoring, Spectrum Warrior can spot drones using many different radio signals. It’s designed to work with tools like the Android Tactical Awareness Kit (ATAK), making it easier for soldiers to see threats and respond quickly. By picking up important signals, it helps soldiers act faster against drone threats. This tech keeps getting better, with updates coming every year to keep up with the latest challenges in electronic warfare.
What’s Next for Spectrum Warrior?
The first improvements to the Wingman system, which now include Spectrum Warrior features, are ready for use. MyDefence promises to keep improving its products to tackle ever-changing dangers.
